General Notes

The Abu Dhabi Experience is a driving event that includes a driving experience aboard Chevrolet Camaro, Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT4 and Yas 3000 single seater race cars at the Yas Marina F1 circuit in Abu Dhabi. 

IT IS NOT A RACE, RALLY OR TIME TRIAL. There are no time constraints or destination arrival deadlines. It is intended primarily to be a fun, social driving experience where like minded petrolheads can get away from it all by driving, dining and telling eachother far fetched stories about their cars, their daily exploits and past adventures and encounters. Couples are welcome as is a casual dress code!

The Price

£4,400 (£2,200 per person) based on 2 drivers sharing accommodation (£4,300 for CD Tour returnees). A £800 deposit can be paid online or by calling the booking office on 01302 743827.

The 1st balance instalment is due by Friday 20th September with the 2nd balance instalment due by Friday 15th November. We will be taking bookings after this date should there still be availability.

Itinerary

Thu 13 February (Registration)
Event registration and participant introductions will take place at the Holiday Inn Heathrow Ariel the evening prior to departure.

Fri 14 February (Heathrow – Abu Dhabi)
A private coach will take us to the airport for our morning flight to Abu Dhabi. Arriving early evening, another private coach will collect us from the airport and take us to our hotel, the magnificent 5* Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, in time for drinks in the hotel bar.

Sat 15 February (Abu Dhabi)
Day off with no driving planned giving all participants the opportunity to tour Abu Dhabi, do a bit of shopping in the city or lounge around the hotel pool or maybe on the beach. Abu Dhabi in May is typically 30 – 35 degrees meaning there will be plenty of sunshine to soak up!

Sun 16 February (Abu Dhabi)
Another day with no driving planned meaning more sunbathing, shopping, a visit to the historic old town or maybe a trip out to the circuit for a ride on the rollercoaster or a tour of Ferrari World. We will also have the chance to drive the desert dunes in buggies as well as taking part in a desert safari. Highly reccommended!

Mon 17 February (Yas Marina)
Today will be spent at the circuit firstly taking part in the Chevy Camaro Drag Race Challenge, followed by drives in the Aston Martins GT4’s and Yas 3000 single seaters. Afterwards we will head back to the hotel for a drink or two to celebrate what promises to be an unforgettable day.

Tue 18 February (Abu Dhabi – Heathrow – Home)
A midday flight will see us land at Heathrow for 5.30pm UK time – missing the rush hour traffic on our way home.
